Visual Art and Design

The artist behind Joyful Bear is Jennifer Baird, a Swedish, Scottish and Anishinaabe maker who lives and works on the unceded territory of the Ts'uuba-asatx.  The handcrafts, jewelery and accessories found here are a culmination of Jennifer's life walking at many intersections, and working through her own internalized colonial biases.
